THE 2023 NEW ZEALAND GENERAL ELECTION

Voters United invite our members to partake in regular polls that we will conduct with the minor parties.

The questions that we ask will seek to discover if the parties align with our principles. We will also ask questions pertaining to current issues facing New Zealanders.

As we draw closer to election day, we envision that one minor party will become a clear leader among our members. Our members will then be encouraged to place their election day party vote behind the party identified in our polls as being the leader at the time of the 2023 election.

By voting in a strategic way like this, we will increase the likelihood of getting a minor party across the 5% threshold and into Parliament.

If our votes are split once again across all parties, the chance of achieving seats in Parliament in 2023 is very low.

These graphs show the results of the 2020 Election, and what that result might have been had the minor party voters united behind one party – and this does not even include the one million voters who didn’t even vote!

Our focus is solely on the party vote, not the candidate vote. It is the party vote that will win us seats in Parliament. We suggest you place your candidate vote behind the candidate that best represents your needs in your area.

Bring your like-minded friends and family on board. Together united, we can win seats and a voice in Parliament.
